exoGeo

What is exoGeo?

It's an integrated all-in-one worldbuilding tool. You can upload your world map and build out the regions and cities, and the roads that connect them. You can jot down simple notes, or build a wiki-lite data repository, then link those notes directly to spots on your map. Whether you're building a setting for a ttrpg, writing the next big fantasy epic, or just have fun imagining new worlds, exoGeo helps get your ideas out of your head and onto the web to keep the creativity flowing.

Upcoming Features

exoGeo just hit beta! It's got some rough edges, but it can (mostly) used as intended to help with your worldbuilding. The next steps will be a lot of polish and bug fixes, plus a bunch more features and tools that will make it even more useful.

Below is a list of just a few of the features and quality of life improvements coming to exoGeo in the future!

  • Account and profile management
  • Tutorial and User Guides
  • Nameable Roads
  • Multi-select map features for bulk editing

  • Allow other users to view and — optionally — edit your world
  • Restrict access to specific notes, landmarks, etc

Known Issues

This isn't a complete list of all the issues I know about, but it's most of them.

  • Updating a note in one window while it's open in another can cause sync issues
  • Cannot remove individual points from roads/terrain on touch screens
  • If a single segment of road starts and ends at the same point (loops back on itself), getting directions can break
